    Texas Hold'em in a minute

    • The deal: two private cards each, five shared cards dealt face up in the middle. Best five-card hand out of your seven wins.
    • Betting: four rounds — before the flop, after the flop (3 cards), the turn (1) and the river (1). On your turn: fold, check (if nothing to call), call, or bet/raise.
    • Blinds: the two seats after the dealer button post the small and big blind to start the pot. The button moves every hand.
    • All-in: you can never lose more than your stack. Side pots keep it fair when stacks differ.
    • Showdown: if two or more players are left after the river, hands are revealed and the best takes the pot. Everyone folds? Last player standing takes it without showing.
